Our Nightly Ritual
So, Steph, Madelyn and I have this nightly ritual we go through. We give Madelyn her bath, and about half-way through we wash her hair. Well, as we wash her hair, we give her a comb over. It just makes sense. She has thin hair, I have thin hair...So we have a connection. After she receives her comb over, we have her do a fake newscast since she looks like an anchorman. I know, this sounds really weird. Every night we make her up and then hold her up and make funny jokes. It's a silly thing but it means the world to my family to have this to do. I can't recall any funny rituals, but I think yours sounds really CUTE, lol. I just remember the same old, "bath, bottle, bed" routine....oh, and we'd always end with a story. Even when they were tiny babies with bottles, I LOVED reading to them! Its good for them, too. Do you read to yours?
