Hey guys!
So, I'm off for the next 2 weeks. Learning to be a daddy, learning how to change diapers, learning how to be rested on 2 hours of sleep. I wouldn't trade it for the world. Madelyn has taught me what it means to love unconditionally. In between all the hoopla, Steph and I put together a video of Madelyn's first moments....I'm humbled that you wanna check it out, because it means the world to us..I have cried about a dozen times watching this...Then again, I cry when I watch Titanic still. Enjoy!!!

Congratulations!! The video is amazing and your daughter is beautiful. That is some head of hair...wow!! I don't think i've ever seen a newborn with so much hair. Enjoy every moment you have with her oh but hurry back to work causemy drive to work just isn't the same. And I think Allen and Rebecca miss you too.

I may get my "man card" revoked, because I had tears rolling down my eyes when I watched your vid.
Cherish every moment, because it goes so fast. I can still remember cutting the cord on my little girl almost 18 years ago. Now its cheerleader, National Honor Society, Prom Court, driving and all the pain and joy that goes along with it.

OMG what a beautiful video....I watched it while my son was sitting on my lap and it brought back memories of when I had my children....(wait let me wipe away my tears)....Congrats on your new little angel....I have 2 boys (6yrs and 2 yrs) and I try to take as many pics and vidoes as I can cuz time goes by so very quickly and they grow so fast....Cherish every moment, you both have been truly blessed with such a special gift....Life as you know it will never be the same, but it is a good thing....God Bless....Oh by the way I love the name no matter what anyone says....LOL

I have folowed your baby blog all the way thru and I have to say that I have never in my life been more touch by the emotion I felt from your words. Your baby is absolutely beautiful and you could not have picked a more perfect & fitting name for her. I love Merlot and the meaning behind it.
